A New Idea For a New Era

I just graduated college. Whoa. And for the first time in my conscious life, I am without a necessary path that I must follow. As scary as that may be for some, for me, it is the most liberating feeling in the entire world. I may be without an exact path, but I am not without a definite goal.

Never before have I felt more passion for any undertaking than I do for jamblr. Not because I think its going to be a smart career choice, or its going to make me lots of money (although I certainly hope it does), but because I believe so strongly in the idea. Social Collaboration. Social Networking sites have changed the way we communicate, stay in touch, and even do business, but as great as that is, they still haven’t tapped into the potential that all of these new tools offer.

Jamblr is going to allow people to not only network, but actually work together. It’s an idea that is far more encompassing than just film, music, photos, and writing. It’s an idea that allows people from all over the world- different faiths, backgrounds, colors and creeds- to work together with a common purpose and help each other reach creative potentials that may otherwise never have come to fruition.

The greatest thing that came out of the hippie revolution of the 1960’s was this idea that everyone is connected and that if people put aside their differences and actually work together anything can be possible. Although the movement died out, the idea continued to live on and can finally be manifested with all of these new Social Networking tools at our disposal.

I don’t expect jamblr to be the cause for world peace or anything (well maybe not right away), but I do know that anything that can bring people together for a great common purpose is something I’m very proud to be a part of.

You may say that I’m a dreamer, but I am certainly not the only one…Lets jambl!
