A Brief History of the Imminent

May 9, 2008 · Print This Article

LHCRight now, the world’s top physicists at CERN have begun their final preparations for the first test of the LHC (Large Hadron Collider). For those of whom are unaware of the significance of this monumental event, this massive instrument might possibly lead us to the key which unravels ALL secrets in the known universe. In laymen terms, as I’m certainly no physicist…

This will reveal the most elusive missing link to the Standard Model of particle physics, the Higgs-Boson; otherwise known as:
The GOD Particle

Hopefully that has woken you up a bit this fine Friday morning, and with any luck, you haven’t strayed off to Wikipedia researching these outrageous claims.

Now you’d be smart to ask, “What the hell does discovering the most important scientific breakthrough of the 21st century have to do with Jamblr?!?!” And I can tell you…

Absolutely Nothing & Everything!

As I type this post, I can gather one certainty why these two unrelated topics might have some relevancy to one another. While science is continuously trying to find the missing pieces to our existence, the innovative team at Jamblr is filling the void that is Online Social Collaboration. A truly original step forward in social media.

Perhaps now would be an appropriate time to introduce myself, the last unspoken Jamblr colleague. My name is Daniel Gioulakis; however, to the majority that is not my parents, I go simply by Danny. I represent the technical side to Jamblr: the coder, the geek … If you like to go by stereotypes. It has been my passion since 11 years of age in which I first dabbled in HTML and was hooked! Since then, my passion has lead to an obsession in the field of computer science. And so I’ve become a student; exploring and learning, with over 10 languages, four regional and state awards, and one A+ certification which I still have yet to find use for.

Throughout the course of production, it is my aim to keep everyone informed on Jamblr, technically speaking. The challenges faced when building an online community in which employing current trends, whilst improving upon and staying ahead of the curve, to bring fresh, unique, never-before seen experience to social media user interaction. Watch out Tila Tequila … VH1’s got their eye on Jamblr for their next reality series!

This being my first post, I have decided to keep this blog with a more personal standpoint. I would love to hear feedback from the community and always keep my lines of communication open. Please email me with thoughts, questions, or ramblings.

We should talk physics at some point. I was unaware that we shared an interest in the field.

Got something to say?
